La Providencia: Mountain View's Orphan Ministry partners with La Providencia in Siguatepeque, Honduras. La Providencia is a best-practice, family-based Christian community of care for orphans and at-risk children. Our goal is to encourage and support the Honduran Christians in the important work they're doing. We visit annually to continue building relationships and to introduce new people to the ministry. Members of the Orphan Ministry also serve La Providencia throughout the year by prayer, encouragement, and financial support. For more information on how to support and/or visit La Providencia, click here.

Orphan Hosting: New Horizons for Children offers 5-to-6 week hosting opportunities in the winter or summer for families to open their hearts and homes to orphaned and vulnerable children from Latvia and the Ukraine. Hosting is like bringing the mission field to you and provides your family the opportunity to be a witness for Christ; it gives the child the chance to experience the love of a family. Many families from MVCC have participated in this program over the past few years and they would agree it is a great program that offers many rewards to the host child and the host families. Partial grants are available. For more information on hosting, visit

Adoption: Has God placed adoption on your heart but you don't know where to get started? Are you an adoptive parent interested in fellowship with other adoptive parents? • ABBA Fund adoption grant.

  • Adoption support group; first Sunday of the month from 4-6pm at MVCC. Child care is provided.

  • Prepare meals for new adoptive families; get on our mailing list to join.
